Enter the World of Jeff Claassen

The Bird King and His Little Planet

San Luis Obispo’s Jeff Claassen creates alterante worlds through art where little birds are kings and nothing is at it seems. You can check out some of his work at his website and in his gallery in SLO.

Hope

Obama “Hope” artwork donated by Shepard Fairey to be auctioned for Art For Life charity. The former San Diego artist whose irreverent works have deconstructed the meaning and methods of propaganda, ironically became the creator of one of the most potent political images in recent history with the Obama “Hope” poster.

iPhone 3G: a convincing argument

Dave:  Did u go 3G? After upgrading my current iPhone to 2.0 I’m gonna stick with it for a bit unless you convince me otherwise.
Jason:  Can’t talk now….I’m playing w/ my 3G iPhone that downloads 3 x as fast as my old iPhone….plus the active GPS rocks, I used it this wknd to see the beacon travel and used it for directions.
Jason:  I think the touchscreen may have been tweaked too, my typing is much more accurate on this phone.  OH….phone and speakerphone are considerably more clear and louder.
Jason:  Did I mention that 3G is fast?
